Home Mini Book – ‘Arcadia Place’ Page

This was a nice home. It was a fresh start. Just the two of us (mostly). Two bedrooms. A nice big living room – plenty of room to entertain and also to work and play. This flat will always hold a special place in my heart because this is was the first place that really felt like a couple’s home, rather than a student flat. Because of this soppy element, I wanted to add a touch of delicacy, and the cream lace worked perfectly and makes this design look quite chic. I chose the pinks and greens as these fresh colours symbolised (to me) a fresh start, a new beginning, the start of our future together – a bright future.

Journaling reads:
This was our first taste of living together alone – at least until Daniel & Caroline moved in for the summer. It was definately tough commuting through to Uni for those 9am lectures, but it was worth it! We felt like a real family: with our seamonkeys as pets, New Years Day dinner party & our first real holiday away – Gran Cranaria. This flat was also the birth place of “three fours & a King” and where the infamous ‘San Andreas day’ took place. Good times!!

Thanks for looking!
