Sending Happy Mail – A Generic Card with lots of stamping

Sometimes its nice to send a card for no reason at all. Its always nice to get a little surprise in the post when you aren’t expecting it. I am going to be sending a batch of cards to some colleagues who work for the same company, but are based all over the place, so i will be making some generic, non-greeting specific cards over the next few weeks.

Here’s the video of how i made the card, but apologies if i sound a bit odd -i am still recovering from a cold so my throat and sinuses are still not back to normality.

For the card i used the Sending and Wishing release from SimonSaysStamp- in particular the Sending Happy Thoughts Clear stamp set. I love that there are so many great images in these stamp sets that can be used on generic cards, or can be added to a sentiment to make an even more interesting theme specific card.

One of my favourite stamps is the hello circle – great for background stamping, especially in the SSS fog dye ink- it fades into the background beautifully.

The little girl in her yellow jacket is a Darcie’s Dancing in the Rain cling stamp, coloured with Spectrum Noir colouring pencils and using blending solution. She reminds me of Princess Pi, who just loves jumping in muddy puddles!

Enjoy the video and come back soon,
