We’re off to a wedding tomorrow! Yeay!

I’ve been looking forward to going to this wedding for months! And of course, a special occasion means a special card, so i’ve followed instructions on a cool video on You Tube to make this card. It’s so simple, you really should check it out, and it gives fantastic results in just a few moments. All you’ll need is a ruler and a scoring tool – the rest is a piece of cake!

Hmmm, can’t wait for the wedding cake!

I think one of the reasons why I am looking forward to tomorrow so much is because not only do I get to dress up all pretty, but Craig also gets to wear his kilt. Hee hee! My handsome Scotsman!

Thanks for stopping by, and have fun making your own Fun Fold Cards!

Miss You Monday – Making My Own Piece of Summery-ness

Hey everyone.

I’ve had four days of illness, and I was only really able to get up and about yesterday evening. I was thankful that I was able to have the energy to make a Miss You Monday card for today. After all that time in a dark, germ-infested room, I wanted light and summery-ness. Well, I wasn’t going to get it outside, so I made my own little piece of happiness with this card.

Sometimes I just love Hero arts stamps so much that it hurts! I picked up this fab background stamp a little while ago, and I wanted to use it, but in a slightly different way – a background with a difference. Of course my distress inks were my first craft-comfort after a week of non-crafting, and I turned to my two favourite colours: shabby shutters and broken china. Yum yum.

I’ve been wanting chipboard flourishes lately, and as this was my last Bisous chipboard swirl, i really must buy some when I next see ones that I like.

Thanks for looking.

MYM – The Countdown begins

Todays (or rather, yesterdays!) Miss You Monday Card marks a special occasion. Well at least it is special for Sarah and hubby Jeremy. Yes, thats right, it is August, and at the end of this month the family will be reunited, and alas, baby is due the first week of September. This means that all the months of waiting are over, and although there are another few weeks to go, it all seems bearable because the end is so very near.

So it seemed appropriate to make a card with numbers galore, and what is more perfect than this cuttlebug embossing folder? I wanted clean and simple, with just a little punch of colour – and this is the end result!

I hope you like it…oh, and thanks for waiting patiently. We sold a lotta krispie buns today, and will continue to sell them tomorrow. The Starbucks coffee seems to be going down a treat!! x
