…And then it was Monday again! Weekends go so quick don’t they?!

But of course, Monday’s aren’t always gloomy, because it means another Miss You Monday Card for Sarah!

Last weekend I was lurking in W H Smith, and I found a packet of Cath Kidston Stickers! I leafed through it , and tried to resist, but i couldn’t. I love the way Cath mixes a variety of bright colours with patterns and it always looks so fresh.

Aren’t they just divine! And there is over 200 in the pack! LUSH!

Today’s Miss You Monday card is completely inspired by Cath Kidston, with the bright red and blue against crisp white, and this stamp of tea cups from Unity Stamps was perfect to complete a homey scene.

Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely bright and cheery Monday!

hello there.

I am loving my distress tool from Tim Holtz and Tonic Studios. And I am liking this kind of style more and more. There is something about this card that I find really beautiful (i hope that doesn’t sound vain..its more to do with the wonderful stamps that i love other than my card design).

Here i’ve used a music stamp that I bought of ebay (no idea which manufacturer), stamped with Milled Lavender distress ink, and i’ve stamped the two Unity stamp images (the greeting and the bird) with Dusty Concord Distress ink.

A five minute card with a lotta punch!

Have a nice day you guys!

Friday Fun – Friends With Flair!

Happy Friday everyone! I am so very excited to be taking part in this week’s Unity Friends With Flair Blog Hop!

It starts over at the Unity blog where you’ll find a list of all the participants and links to their blogs, so if you’ve joined in along the way, be sure to go back and check out all the other great projects you’ve missed.

One blog on the list will have the hidden flair blinkie, and all you need to do is leave a comment on that blog to get some fabulous Unity prizes! Whats not to love?!

The card I have made for today is full of Unity lovliness! I really loved the butterfly tree stamp from Junes KOTM, and have masked the tree trunk so that I only inked up the butterflies. I think they look beautiful as they fly across the page. I’ve also used the Fly Free greeting from this kit, and finished it off with the fancy label frame from February’s KOTM (my favourite one!), stamped in the same colour as those butterflies.

Next up on the hop is Sara’s blog – check it out here!!

Enjoy the rest of the hop, and have a wonderful weekend!
