One of the most unique products from Craftwork Cards is their Card Candy embellishments. I really love their versatility! These are little domed pieces of pretty, pearlescent card that look like brads, only legless! I’ve been playing with them recently, using them in different ways, and today I have a video tutorial on how you can use Card Candy embellishments to build flowers to use on your crafty projects.
I’ve built a few flowers and used one to add an elegant, dimensional aspect to this card. I hope you enjoy the video!
I LOVE party games!! – pass the parcel, pin the tail on the donkey, and of course, musical chairs! And when I saw this chairs stamp in Unity Stamps September KOTM, it instantly reminded me of the local Church hall, lined with chairs whilst the musical notes stopped and started, resulting in an inevitable pile-up of kids, clambering and fighting over the last chair. Ahh, the fun!
And all of this is ahead of me, when little bump comes out! ♥
Speaking of bump…we were so excited to have our 20w scan on Friday! OH MY GOSH!
It was SOOO very crazy! Seeing the little hands and feet on the screen! Wriggling and turning this way and that way, taking our breath away! We watched the screen with amazement, mouths gaping whilst the sonographer marvelled at how cooperative our little one was being. She even called it ‘baby of the day!’. Oh, such a proud mama already!! I promise I’ll have some pics to share real soon. Anyway, must reel myself in from all this swishy gooey stuff! ♥
So for now… a very humble product list for todays card.

A few weeks ago I showed you a project that I made for Sarah: a little book that held a variety of tasty fruit tea sachets. It was lots of fun to make, and lots of you asked for a tutorial so that you could make one for yourself.
Although it works really well to hold these little sachets, you could also simply use the pockets to hold tags, photos, journaling, memorabelia and so much more, which makes this project really flexible…and i must say, it is really fun to make!
I split the tutorial into two videos to make it easier to follow and easier to download – so here they are below for your viewing pleasure!

But of course, Monday’s aren’t always gloomy, because it means another Miss You Monday Card for Sarah!
Last weekend I was lurking in W H Smith, and I found a packet of Cath Kidston Stickers! I leafed through it , and tried to resist, but i couldn’t. I love the way Cath mixes a variety of bright colours with patterns and it always looks so fresh.
Aren’t they just divine! And there is over 200 in the pack! LUSH!
Today’s Miss You Monday card is completely inspired by Cath Kidston, with the bright red and blue against crisp white, and this stamp of tea cups from Unity Stamps was perfect to complete a homey scene.
