This layout has been made using one of the pages from the PDQ Violet range from Bisous and some chipboard letters from the Take Out range. This pre-designed paper was a great way to make a quick and easy layout in a matter of minutes.
I decided to create a photo collage along the decorative strip that ran along the middle, and what better topic than a family BBQ that we had during my last visit to the homeland. I carried my DSLR all evening and got lots of great pics of all the family.
Journaling reads:
A long weekend home wouldn’t be the same without a family get together. having a BBQ just makes it more fun!
Also chipboard embellishment reads: You can never have too many family barbeques.
I added a strip of organza ribbon along the left of the photos, which you can barely see i’m afraid, but served as a way of narrowing this gap between the photos and the edge of the layout, so that the borders around the photos were equidistant, and I also used a white gel pen to draw a rectangle frame around the tab shaped chipboard embellishment.
I hope you like it, and don’t forget you can leave me a comment here.
