Two things to share today.
First this card I made with the lovely jubbly hero arts stamps that arrived in the post yesterday. I was feeling a little self indulgent a few weeks back as I got a little extra money in my pay packet as commission, so I figured I would visit twopeasinabucket.com and buy some of the hero arts stamps I’ve been drooling over in the videos by Kristina Werner and of course Jennifer Maguire’s ‘thinking inking’ videos. You should check out the videos at their websites.
My challenge: create an anniversary card for Andie to give to her husband as they celebrate their first year of marriage this weekend. Congratulations Andie and Ben.

The second thing I wanted to share is that fellow crafter and scrapbook extraordinaire Amy Coon has started a new venture over on her blog which she is calling Amy’s Paper Spotlight. Each week Amy will introduce us to a friendly face from the Scrapbooking community; names we recognise, new faces, the people behind the crafty companies we know and love and many many more. Each week there will also be a give away from those who are featured, and all you need to do is leave a comment to win! So if you fancy getting to know more brilliant and talented people in our scrapbooking community, and also be in for a chance to win some more goodies, then you better head over to AmysPaperLife website and check out Amy’s first give away competition. You can also follow Amy on twitter here.
And GUESS WHAT – I am absolutely delighted that little old me is going to feature on the much coveted Amy’s Paper Spotlight in early November and all i’m saying is that I already have a bundle of goodies ready for the giveaway prize, so watch this space! And thank you Amy for giving me a slot, I promise I will have lots of inspiring layouts to share with everyone.
So everyone…go…go visit Amyspaperlife and bookmark her blog so you can visit every week for inspiration, education and hopefully lots of elation (because you might win the prizes! hee hee)
I’ve been over via your link (and told her so too) it all looks very exciting. I’m definitely bookmarking 😀
thanks carmen. cant wait to be featured, how exciting!
