Hey guys
I recently used the last of the adhesive in my Glue Glider Pro (sob) and I decided to take it apart and use the cogs inside as misting masks.
This was an idea inspired by a project that my eFriend Erin Bassett did when she dismantled her Glue Glider Pro. Check out her project here.
It was an experiment to be honest, but I loved the result. I used some Cosmic Shimmers Mists, very similar to Glimmer Mists or Maya Mists.
This scrapbook layout is of my nephew Joshua on the day that we went to Legoland. He loved the whole experience, and I adored this photo of him running down the pathway with a cheeky grin on his face. It really was the look of sheer happiness. This was one of those quick, fun layouts that just materialize without too much concentration. I love it when that happens.
Bubbles
Whilst making this layout, I also rediscovered a stash of a particular product that, if my memory serves me, are called bubbles. I can’t for the life of me remember who made them, but they are cool acrylic domes that you can stick to products but put charms, beads and other loose items inside. It acts as a little shaker bubble. You can see that I added a small square bubble to the layout with a few seed beads inside.
Thanks for popping by, and for my next post I’ve got a quick video to show you how I customized some household string in order to get it this cool blue colour so it would match my layout. See you then.

I love the layout! Fantastic colors & the technique sure makes it a stand out.
Ooh, love this idea. I have pulled the cogs out and had my DH remove the shanks then paint them silver to use on a layout, but didn’t think of using them as a mask – very neat. Thanks for the idea.
