Miss You Monday – Raindrops of Love

It’s Monday again, and what better way to celebrate another week than with a ‘Miss You Monday’ card for Sarah.

My new Unity Stamps Kit of the Month arrived on Friday, and between Driving lessons and preparations for Craig’s birthday, I’ve not really had a chance to play with them a lot. But I think this little Umbrella Girl stamp is simply adorable, so I knew that I wanted to use it on a MYM card.

Sarah is the kinda girl that brightens up the dullest day, and without her, my life has certainly gotten a little duller, so I have chosen this Umbrella Girl and some papers from the ‘Best Friends’ collection, that actually came free in ‘Scrapbook Magazine’ – how cute and perfect is that background paper with clouds and heart raindrops?

Tip
Here’s a little tip for you. You probably would think that i have matted and layered by background paper unto blue cardstock, but it actual fact it is just the card blank. Rather than using extra card or paper, I have used my inks to colour the edge of the card. I’ve used Broken China distress ink, and I think it looks great. This way I can make coloured card and paper that matches my stamped images perfectly.
