woooo, its Monday again, and I can hardly believe it! It’s crazy how fast the weekends disappear.
We’ve been blessed with some nice sunny weather over the last few days, and Craig and I have been laughing at the fact that all of a sudden we are seeing people outside in shorts and flip flops, and all the shops are sold out of burgers and sausages, and the air is filled with the mixed scents of BBQs and freshly mown grass. The first sight of a little bit of sunshine and us brits are running round in a frenzy.
And although i’ve not been BBQ-ing or cutting grass this weekend, I have been busy driving. I’m learning at the moment, and it’s getting to the stage where I want to be out and about in the car, getting some more experience behind the wheel. It is great to go places and see things at the weekend, but i’m starting to miss hanging out in my craft room. I think this weekend I’ll have to be a crafty hermit!
Last week I went to a local village and (surprise, surprise) I found a craft shop, and I treated myself to a set of clear stamps called ‘Hugs‘ by Penny Black. Aren’t they sweet?
I just loved the little mouseys, and thought they would be great for this weeks ‘Miss You Monday’ card.
And to add a little bit of sunshine, I’ve used a bright and colourful pattern paper and some red polkadot ribbon. The little flower embellishment is a button that I rescued off an old gift, but thought it would look darling on this card.
Thanks for popping by, and don’t forget to leave me a comment here.
Great crafting here–well done
