My Favourite Flowers On A Card: Tulips!

Yes, my favourite flowers are tulips. I don’t know why, but they are just so pretty. I’ve got a lovely bunch of yellow beauties last week that are currently standing proud in my living room.

I was thrilled that last months Unity Kit of the Month had a lovely tulip stamp in it, and finally yesterday I got to play with it. I love the way it is encased in a beautiful oval design with a little butterfly – isn’t it sweet!?

Today’s card would be perfect for mums, grannies or mates, with bright colours combined with more subtle hues – a play on the bright red tulip flowers and the mix of greens in the flower stems.

In case you are wondering, I have coloured in the image using distress inks. Such an easy way to add a pop of life to a stamped image. If you want to see more on this, check out my video tutorial which shows you how to colour with distress inks.
