Happy weekend everyone!
One week of maternity leave over and i have been keeping myself super busy with a long list of things to do before this bambino gets here.
The hospital bag is packed and the maternity notes are complete, so i am ready and waiting for the excitement to start!
The nursery is coming together nicely- with shelves built and stocked full of baby stuff and cuddly toys, and I finally got to take the plastic wrapping off the mattress and replace it with freshly laundered bedding. At the moment i’m working on some curtains which I will show you all once I’ve got them all finished.
Today I wanted to show you this card that I made using some papers from We R Memory Keepers and a stamp from the Unity Stamps Kit of the month for January. I made a basic background with one of my fav Hero Arts stamps – the polka dot stamp which is actually called ‘raindrop’ stamp. Then I made a bookmark using the cute hearts and some chalk ink, mounted onto some cardstock from this We R Memory Keepers stack. The ‘You’re sweet’ bit is also from the same stack of paper. Because I wanted the bookmark to be easily removable so the recipient can actually use it, I’ve just stuck it to the card with a repositionable glue dot. Easy peasy!
But as for these cardstock stacks…ohhhh! ♥ I found these stacks in T K Maxx, hiding amongst the household goods, and I instantly fell in love. They are about an inch thick, full to the brim with great quality cardstock in a variety of yummy Colours and patterns. Theres even a page of punch out die-cuts at the back a page of alpha stickers and a page full of chipboard alpa stickers. Over 500 pieces it says on the front cover. Whats not to love?!
Secret is…I bought the Vintage Blue collection and then went back to buy these two as well. heehee!
The orange stack I bought purely because of those cloud papers. yum! You should check out the whole collection over at We R Memory Keepers website
I’ve also put together a quick and easy scrapbook layout using this Vintage Blue collection, but you’ll be glad to know that I am putting together a video of it to show you. Yeay! videos again!
