Hello everyone,
Today’s card features some lawn fawn stamps and dies, along with some alpha stamps from Paperchase, but i think the star of the show award goes to the sparkly pearlescent watercolours!
To create these beautiful sparkly coloured lines under the cloud, i used the Stargazers palate from ArtQuest. I haven’t used them in a while, and the pearly sheen shows up much better on dark coloured card stock, but it still give a beautiful sparkle on the white background.
trust me, it looks much more intense in real life, but you can sort of see the effect in this photo.
Originally this was made as a valentine’s card, but really it could be used for a general encouragement card, or a simple ‘hello’ card either. I just loved how it turned out. But then again, that is no surprise because i looooovvvee bright colours! YAY!
Just a little note about the video. Normally i like to leave in the original background noises because i know some ASMR-lovin’ listeners will appreciate the sound effects of cutting paper and all the other good crafty noises, but unfortunately there was a helicopter flying around when i made the card. so my original clips had to be muted for this video, sorry guys. More crafty noises on my next video i am sure.
🙂
enjoy the video, and please subscribe if you want to make sure you catch my videos when they become available. Have a great Sunday!
