Oh crafty, crafty friends! My sweet and fabulous crafty friends! Not only do I have a video for you guys today, but I also have a GIVEAWAY!! YAYYYY!!

A celebratory giveaway, in honour of reaching 5000 subscribers over on the HungryHeffycrafts You Tube Channel! YIPPPEEEEE!!

But first, here is todays project!

I am in LOVE with the adorable Page Huggers stamps from Mama Elephant – I love the cute critters and they way you can tuck the stamped images beneath their paws! I am dropping hints to hubby that I simply NEED the coordinating dies!

I have matched these stamps with some grass and cloud dies, as well as the madison avenue dies to create a frame. For the greeting I have used the ‘wonderful‘ and ‘fabulous‘ dies and the Sentiment Builder stamp set from Honey Bee Stamps. I love that the Sentiment Builder set gives such great versatility, and I think they worked really well with the design of the card!

I stamped the bunny and mouse image, along with some of the coordinating images from the same Page Huggers set,  onto neenah cardstock and used copic markers to colour them in. I actually wanted the mouse to be a rat, so I tried to colour him a bit like a hooded rat, which is why his head is darker from the rest of his body. I used a little twine for his tail…… Oh man, I wish I was allowed to have pet rats!

Here’s the video, where you can see the whole process of how I made the rat version of this card, but I loved the result so much I made two cards with the same template but mixed it up with colours, critters and sentiments!
