Hey there friends,
Lesley Oman here, and I am having lots of fun playing with my WRMK fuse tool today!
I noticed that one of the cats in the Curious Kitties stamp set was in the perfect position to be holding something, so I took a look at the other stamp sets to see if something would work! As luck would have it, this cone image from the Celebration Box set worked perfectly. I think it looks like a little loudspeaker, and he is ready to party!
To make this card I first stamped and coloured the kitty and cone image. I used my copic markers to colour him in and gave the loudspeaker a fun striped look.
Next I die cut two pieces of card so they were a square frame, and then I laid this on top of some scratch paper and used a pencil to mark the size of the aperture. I also made a rough pencil mark of where my kitty would be standing. Then I laid down a plastic page insert from a scrapbook album and used the fuse tool to create sealed lines from the middle of the plastic.
Because all four sides of my plastic square were open, I then filled each pocket with sequins from the baby boy sequin mix, and after filling each one, I sealed along the outside edge. Once all my pockets were full, I was able to assemble the card. As a finishing touch, I added some stamped streamers from the Celebration Box stamp set to the front.
Thank you for joining me today. See you next time!
I don’t think the title of your article matches the content lol. Just kidding, mainly because I had some doubts after reading the article.
