Have you guys had a chance to check out the awesome range of embellishments in the Honey Bee Stamps store yet? I am absolutely loving them – Melissa does such a great job of creating gorgeous mixes that coordinate so beautifully together.
For today’s card I am ALL about the sequins! I wanted the sequins from the popsicle mix to be the main focus on this card, so first I covered a square card blank with some pink patterned paper. Next I took a heart die and drew around it lightly with a pencil. This created a guide where I would place a plethora of fun sequins!
I used my tombow mono adhesive to stick all the sequins in place, one by one. Yes it took a little time, but isn’t the final result just BEAUTIFUL! So sparkly, it reminds me of sprinkles on a cupcake!
When all the sequins were in place, I realised that you could still see the pencil lines, so I reached for my Nuvo crystal drops. I used the gloss white nuvo drops to add little blobs all along the pencil line. It felt like i was icing a cake!
To finish it off, I needed a simple but bold message, so I use the ‘hi’ die from the Hello Gorgeous die set to cut out of black cardstock. So simple, and so pretty!
