Hello everyone,
It’s blog hop time! Woohoo! I am so excited to be part of this hop with so many talented individuals! I was so excited that I have made two Heffy Doodle cards for this hop!
First of all, a clean and simple card using the Whatcha Saying stamps and Dies. I used the clover frames dies to die cut the perfect A2 stitched rectangular panel for the front of my card, and then i used the Whatcha Saying dies to create speech bubble apertures on a panel of cardstock. I wanted it to kinda look like a conversation via text message.
I then picked out three coordinating colours of cardstock and stuck these underneath, and then stamped the sentiments from the Whatcha Saying stamp set. To finish the card, I delved into Crystal’s collection of nuvo drops. I think I need all these colours in my life!
Next up, another simple, but effective card that really showcases the Heffy Doodle Stitched Strips of Ease. I stamped, copic coloured and die cut some cute images from the Honey Bunny Boo stamp set, and also die cut the word Easter using the Easter Heffy Cuts die and some kraft cardstock.
I layered a white rectangular piece of card onto a kraft card base, leaving a 1/8″ border around the edge. Next I used the awesome stitched strips of ease dies to die cut three strips of patterned paper. I chose a few pretty springtime colours that I thought would work great with the Easter theme. On one of the strips I stamped the word Hoppy from the Honey Bunny Boo stamp set, and then finished off the card by add the stamped images. I love how the bunny’s paw can overlap the strips of cardstock! So sweet!

SUCH a fun hop! Love both of your cards!
Great examples of this new release that you have currently. Your cards are beautiful with the cute bunny and the soft tones in colours and card stock. Looking forward to playing with this release as soon as I get to my local craft/ art lady. Good luck with this release and looking forward to the next one, any hints you can drop at all ?
These are so fun and sweet! Love your soft coloring of the bunny!
Darling cards! I love the speech bubbles cut out and stamped through the hold… so fun.
Lesley I absolutely LOVE your stamps. And your cards are awesome!!
Thank you so much for sharing your talent 🙂
Lesley, I have the most fantastic time today on the Heffy Doodle Blog Hop. I have learnt so much from the great card crafters who have been part of the Blog Hop and all the designs that have been created have been so inspiring. For instance the use of putting images or card stock for images to be on diagonally rather than straight seems to be a chosen theme for quite a lot of the designs. I thought I would be in love with the critter stamp sets but as I have gone through the Blog Hop the Leprechauns have shown me how versatile they are (or the designers have LOL!) and they are a favourite of mine at the moment. I also like the ‘WHATCHA SAYIN’ stamp set as this is also very versatile as demonstrated by yourself and Amy. Although I am not saying I don’t like critters any more because I do, I absolutely adore the ‘Eggcellent News’ stamp set with the little prams, chicks and eggs. I have been in my element Lesley, all day hopping from one blog to another. I am certain that my future card designs will contain elements of different techniques I have seen demonstrated today, thank you for giving me the opportunity to see the Heffy Doodle release 3 products being used to their full potential. :O)
Love your pretty color combos on your cards! That bunny is adorable!
Thanks for other great release. Loving your stamps and new dies. Can’t wait to get them in. Just love your CAS cards today. Like crafting with you on your “live” session even though I usually get there late or watch them the next day.
Well hello there and didn’t you go and make bunnies for me! YAY! LOL! Yeah Yeah.. sure Easter and all that… I know it was really for me. 😉 What a super release Lesley and the Blog Hop!! Wow these ladies are fabulous! The PUNS! I hope you feel Chedder soon.. You slay me! Keep up the great work!! You Rock!
Sweet cards!
So creative. I like the recessed look of the comment boxes. Thanks for the card ideas.
Darling card.
Love the bunny and the egg tucked behind
the washi. The first card is plain and simple
and so pretty. Don’t always need a lot of
fussy to have wonderful cards.
thanks for sharing

Loved, loved, loved this blog hop! I need the bunnies, the Whatcha Sayin’ set, and the strips of ease (plain and stitched)! The bunnies remind me of my daughter’s stuffed animals. Anytime I see them, I smile. Beautiful work!!
