Sneak Peek Day 2 – A Honey Bee Stamps & Hungry Heffy Crafts Collaboration – WELCOME BABY

Hello everyone, and welcome to DAY 2 of sneak peeks for the New Honey Bee Stamps release, which I helped design! (squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!)

Today we have a fun stamp set that i sure to have you coo-ing with delight! Let me introduce you all to ‘Welcome Baby‘

Yes! As you can see, this stamp set is perfect to announce the arrival of a new little prince or princess! It has this cute baby, which not only comes with a lot of toys and baby accessories, but you can also add on pigtails to make this baby into a little madame.

Let me share with you a card that I made using this set, which is also featured on the Honey Bee Stamp blog today.

This card was actually super quick and simple – a good example of how you can let the products do the work for you! First I stamped the baby onto some neenah cardstock, and then stamped and cut out a mask by stamping the same image onto post-it paper. I did the same with some cute pigtails that I added to the side of her noggin!

Once I had added the mask, I then used two stamps from the Hooray stamp set to repeat stamp a background. I used the MISTI tool to help me get the alignment nice and even. Once the background was stamped, I peeled away the mask and simply added some colour with my copic markers.

This is a fun way to make a one-layer card, but I mixed things up by layering this panel onto some pink and some gold glitter cardstock -just for some fun!

I thought it would be fun to share ANOTHER project using this stamp set – just so you guys can have another peeky! 🙂 You’re welcome!

This card was inspired by one of my previous creations, and I thought the three peekaboo images from the Welcome Baby stamp set set perfect images for this design! These peekaboo stamps work so well with the CELEBRATION BOX stamp set from this release – if you haven’t seen it yet – be sure to take a look at yesterday’s post!

Here’s a closer look at these cute little guys!

I used some circle dies to cut three holes from a panel of cardstock, and then inked up the background using some ink blending brushes. I then used some of the small images from the CELEBRATION BOX stamp set to add some extra whimsy to each area!

I added a greeting to the front of my card using the HOORAY stamp set – so many great combinations of saying in this set! I love it! Then the peekaboo images were stamped and coloured using copic markers and added to the card.

These little peekaboo images are so much fun to add to cards, and they work SO WELL with the CELEBRATION BOX stamp set – take a look at yesterdays post to see a sneak of that one!

Honey Bee Stamps & Lesley Oman Collab NEW RELEASE : DAY 1 SNEAK PEEK – CELEBRATION BOX & HOORAY

Hello everyone! I am so excited to bring to you the FIRST day of SNEAK PEEKS for the new Honey Bee Stamps Release, in collaboration with little old me- Lesley Oman.

To start the week we are giving you a sneak of TWO new sets – that’s right, not one but TWO. First up take a look at ‘CELEBRATION BOX’.

This stamp set is jam packed full of lots of images which will be perfect for all those celebratory occasions. There’s balloons, strings, confetti, and other images that will have you reaching for this set time and time again.

This stamp set will also have matching dies, along with a fun die where you can add flaps to the box for more dimensional results! SO EXCITING!

For our second reveal, we are giving you an awesome set full of words! Take a look at ‘HOORAY‘

This one was designed by Melissa and is a larger size at 4”x8”. It has the perfect mix of large, scripty words mixed with simple, elegant text – and they all coordinate so well! The stamp set has been designed with this release in mind, so you will see that they work great with the other stamp sets revealed this week, but it will also get a lot of mileage with the rest of your stash! It’s always nice to have a great text-based stamp set in your collection!

As this set is all text, there are no dies for this stamp set – but all the other stamp sets will have matching dies! <3

Over on Instagram and Facebook, we are sharing some sneak peeks of some projects that I made, but you guys are the lucky ones because you get to see the WHOLE PROJECTS not just the peeks!

First up, take a look at this one!

For this card I stamped the box twice using a grey ink and layered it up so my balloon string was emerging from the inside of the box.

I coloured my balloon with some copic markers using a simple blending technique, and added a cute bow to attached it to the silver string.

When you get to see the stamp set (in Friday’s big reveal) there is one image where it isn’t obvious what it is. I call it the ray of light image, and you can see on this card how I have used the emboss resist technique to stamp rays of light emerging from the box, and then added some distress ink blending over the top to make these rays pop!

For the greeting, I used the Celebrate stamp from the Hooray set, and white heat embossed this on some card inked with distress ink!

Here’s another project for you guys, showcasing both the Celebration Box and the Hooray stamp set!

I started by cutting a long piece of post-it tape with a craft knife, right down the middle in a curve. Then I adhered this onto a piece of cardstock and added some colour in the middle section using distress inks. I worked the ink back and forth until I had a beautifully blended rainbow effect on my background, then I spritzed with a little water to reactivate the in and create fun distress splotches!

For each colour of ink I used, I stamped a balloon and coloured it with coordinating copic markers, then I stamped some balloon strings and cut them out. Unfortunately my dies had not yet arrived when I made this card, so I had to fussy cut the hard way- but lucky for you guys the matching dies will make this an absolute breeze!

For some extra fun, I added a thick layer of glossy accents to the middle, pink balloon, and before it was dry I sprinkled on a few sequins from the Honey Bee Stamps exclusive embellishment line!

So there you have it! Day one of our sneak peeks, and tomorrow I will be back with another sneak peek as we announce our third stamp set, with matching dies!

Exciting Announcement – A Honey Bee Stamps & Hungry Heffy Crafts Collaboration

Hello Crafty friends- FINALLY the day has come to share with you my super secret, super AMAZING NEWS!

That’s right – Honey Bee Stamps are having a new release this month, but for me this is a SUPER special release – as I DESIGNED some of them!

Over the last few months, the queen Honey Bee Melissa Hewitt and I have been secretly conspiring, working on some fun new designs as part of this new collection of Honey Bee goodies! I have been sworn to secrecy, and now that the release is nearly here, I am ready to shout it from the roof tops!

In this release, we have 5 new STAMP SETS, 4 sets of COORDINATING DIES and also some new exclusive Honey Bee Stamps EMBELLISHMENTS. Over the next few days, I will be sharing a sneak peek of each set, along with some photos of projects and there will also be a project shared over on the Honey Bee Stamps Blog. Then on Friday 17th, the whole collection will be revealed in full, and they will also be available for purchase in the Honey Bee Stamps store!

I am so excited to share this new adventure with all of you, and I cannot WAIT to see what you all make with our collaborative designs! Please help share the word via social media, and be sure to tag me @hungryheffy along with @honeybeestamps when sharing any creations made with the products!
