Just back from our wonderful holiday to the Magical and fantastic Disneyland Paris- we had soooo much fun! I want to go back every year! I have finally managed to unpack and am working my way through the videos and photos! There are so many!
I am also working on finishing off a crafty video to share with you guys, but in the mean time, I found some photos of a card i made earlier in the year that hasn’t yet been shared. Here it is!
I wanted to use the cute pattern paper with the lollies on there, and so created a subtle panel with vellum and used some white embossing and some letter stickers.
The lollypop was stamped in memento tuxedo black ink and coloured with spectrum noir colouring pencils.
Two thin pink strips of scrap paper frame the vellum panel and help hide the glue that i used to stick it down, and of course – some sequins to finish!
We have had an influx of babies recently in my circle of friends, via work, nursery and all sorts. I kinda like it, because i always find baby cards super fun to make!
I made a card for baby Hugo and then realised that i didn’t have the video camera running, so i made another girl version of the card on tape so i could share it with you guys. Good job i did, because not long afterwards my work colleague Jennifer had a beautiful baby girl! Congratulations on your new bundles of fun!
For todays card i used some Lawn Fawn and paper smooches dies, some echo park paper, and a mix and match of stamp images. I hope you enjoy the video.
Thanks for stopping by. I’m off to make some more baby cards for baby Charlie and Felicity. These tiny humans are everywhere!! 🙂
I made this card a little while ago for our work colleague, John, who took the brave step of packing his bags and moving to Spain. It all happened so fast, but i know he will do GREAT over there!
Of course, i had to send him off in style with his own bespoke HHC card! I used this super cute fox /wolf critter from the mama elephant up and away stamp set, coloured with some spectrum noir pencils. I also used the paper airplane image from lawn fawn- isn’t it cute how it looks like he is throwing it!!
For the background i wanted to invoke the idyllic hues of a spanish pool, so created a watercolour effect using distress inks.
