Im feeling under the weather this week, just a head cold, with sneezes and sniffles, but i wasn’t feeling up to finishing the audio for my latest video, so when i am feeling a bit better, there will be a video coming your way. Until then, i thought i would share a few cards that i have made over the last month or so.
This was my first play with the Lawn Fawn tags die – i am loving these – i think they will be brilliant for presents as well as a fun for cards. It was also my first use of this cute lion stamp that i picked up at hobby crafts for £1. To be honest, the material is flimsy and i think the back will lose its sticky easily, but he’s pretty cute and he was inexpensive so i don’t really mind. Plus i think he is great for boy cards!
For the stars i used some khaki simon says stamp dye ink- i love that it is very similar to the kraft cardstock colour. I never even noticed this before. LOVE IT!
I have a few more cards coming over the next few days, so be sure to come back to see me in a day or two!
We have had a busy weekend over here in the Oman household – with Piper’s birthday party, Nannie & Granda C visiting and Piper’s actual birthday yesterday. I almost felt glad to be back at work so i could have a rest……almost!
With all the party prepping for our now FOUR year old, there hasn’t been much crafting this week, but here’s one of my most favourite cards that i made a few weeks back and haven’t had a chance to share with you guys yet – this little Robot Shaker Card.
I think i am in love with these robot stamps- so very cute. I think Lawn Fawn is overtaking Hero Arts as my favourite stamp manufacturer!!
Have fun watching the video and don’t forget to give me a thumbs up if you like it!
I think the Irish inside of me is trying to get out – I’m not sure if you could tell with this card!? 🙂
This card was all about a fun way to use my SimonSaysStamp heart mask with ink, but to create a non-loveydovey card. I had lots of fun, and love the final card. The mask moved a little, so some of the shamrocks are a bit ‘whimsical’ but hey, thats all part of the fun.
Here’s the video. Please, please share it and also give it a Thumbs Up if you are enjoying my videos.
Happy St Patricks Day (in advance!). May the luck of this Irish Gal be with you always!
