Every girl loves jewellry, right?
…and what better way to make the gift extra special than to present it like this! How Romantic!
This was one of those projects that sprung to life all by itself. As soon as I saw Heidi Swapp’s pink paper with a beautiful ornate frame print, I knew I wanted to play with it.
To begin I made a window by cutting out the inside of the frame and sticking some acetate on the back with my glossy accents adhesive. A few folds later, the main shape of the packet was complete.
To hold the necklace I cut a piece of the same cardstock slightly smaller and punched two small holes using 1/16″ plier punch. Next I cut a slit from the edge down to meet each of the holes.
This meant that i could secure the necklace and let it hang down, and I could adjust the position of the pendant so it lay in just the right place to be seen through the window.
And on the back I punched an envelope using the Marvy Envelope punch, so I can tuck the chain into it.
BUT the real fun was decorating the front. And below is a list of the products i used.
Thanks for popping by, and don’t forget you can leave me a comment here.
