Hello everyone. I hope you managed to get through April 1st without being fooled too much! I was quite disappointed that I never got a random text from my joker brother, but he claims that he is unable to do or say anything on April first without people assuming that its a joke! HA HA!
Today I have a video to share. I have been feeling inspired by the change in the weather which has beckoned spring time our way. I have also been playing with some new purchases which I am simply adoring – My Unity Stamp Kit of the Month, and the new colours of Ranger’s Distress Inks. (By the way, the best price I can get these in the UK is Country View Crafts – free delivery too!)
So its only natural that this card ‘sprung’ to life (excuse the pun LOL), using the Bundled Sage distress ink to create a fresh, soft, elegant card, complete with a stamped image of dandelions – using a stamp from the Unity February 2010 KOTM. And of course, I stuck down my ribbon using my fav Glue Dots! β₯
There’s a few tips and techniques in this video: I show you how I have used distress ink 4 different ways in one card, and I share with you a secret on what I use to help tie ribbon into beautiful bows.
I hope you enjoy the video, and have a Glorious Good Friday. Don’t forget to leave me a comment here, i do love reading them all.
Hi Lesley,
I love watching your video’s. You make everything seem so easy. I loved your bowmaker. Make it out of plastic and you would sell a ton! lol.
That is a lovely card, thank you for sharing it. I have your website on favourites and I check it regularly.
