For this page I wanted to introduce some more colour and also a different way of writing my memories, instead of using journaling strips again. My main memories were in relation to six different aspects of my life back then, so I wanted to divide the page into six elements. I thought little squares would work best – the symmetry of the squares would give the page some structure and the size of them would leave a little room for embellishments and writing the address.
Products used
Queen & Co felt fusion, Chipboard heart from Bisous, Labels from DCWV sticker stack supplied by Trimcraft, Doodlebug number tags, ribbon, brad, button, flower embellishments, title cut using Craftrobo
Journaling reads:
Work- I really hated working the night shift at Internacionale – too tiring! But I did like to walk up to TRU at Parkhead to meet you after work!
Home – We had a huge living room where we would watch the fireworks over Glasgow Green and spy for all those foxys that came to visit!
Friends – Memories of playing the good samaritan to Lindsay. Living above Adam was good fun – lots of wrestling & supersoaker fights!
Get Well Soon – We both had our fair share of playing the patient @ this flat – with your ear and the fun with my tonsilitis operations!
Hobbies – My first creative flair emerges when I buy a sewing machine. Fond memories of falling asleep with my head on your knee as you play computer games!
Food- The great discovery of ‘Spice Garden’ Chinese Takeaway. Who can resist free chinese food? Oh, we miss you Kitty!
