I love love love love love LOVE my Cuttlebug.
I’ve got a Quickutz Squeeze and I adore it, but now that I am scrapping more than making cards, it was a teeny weeny bit frustrating that I was limited to small shapes that would fit on a 2×2 inch die. I wasn’t fussed on the Sizzix, was slightly tempted by the Big Kick by Elllison, but I kept on hearing great things about the Cuttlebug by Provocraft. I watched videos on YouTube, I read reviews, I asked crafty friends, and no one seemed to have a bad word to say about the little green machine.
So I just went for it. I’ve only had my bug for a few weeks, and my selection of dies are very limited but I am loving him already. The best thing by far are the embossing folders. They give such a crisp image that can be sanded, inked and much more, and Provocraft have just announced the release of 5 x 7 folders, an even bigger size which will cover the entire front of a standard notecard, rather than having to trim a fraction of an inch of the side as with the original sized folders.
My favourite folder by far is the Swiss dots, but unfortunately I don’t have any samples to show you, because this folder is soooo popular that by the time I clicked BUY, the store had sold out. Grrrrr. So I will have to keep on trying.
To try out my new purchase, I made some cute little notecards using this luscious line of papers from Crate Paper.
I love the colours and the designs, as they compliment each other so well. So here are my creations, I hope you like them.
Do you want to hear something shocking? I sold my bug just before last christmas so I could buy Craig the James Bond boxset as part of his gift. Now is that not love?
I love your cards, they are as always, gorgeous. 🙂
