Hey everyone
Only five more sleeps until Santa comes!
Here’s whats been going on in my life this week…
It snowed! Yes, it is beginning to look a lot like christmas, and it feels fantastic.
Craig had a night out with his publisher team, and came home at 3.30am, with two friends, feeling a little merry and being VERY noisy. I ran with it, and took advantage of their energetic and uninhibited state… by making everyone play lips on the xbox 360. We were up until 6.00ish, and poor Phil & Dan had work the next day. Craig & I on the other hand, were sensible and had the day off.
I got more money in my pay packet than originally expected this month, (YEAY!!!!) and so i’ve decided its time to learn to drive. Craig booked me my first lesson for Friday. I couldn’t tell if i was more excited or nervous. Either way, it didn’t matter, as it was cancelled because of the snow. Poo.
I went to a carol service with Jer, Sar & Rand. It was just lovely, and there was mulled wine & mince pies, crackers & cheese. I got to spend some more time with Rand, which is great because he is at the stage where he repeats everything you say. I taught him to sing Jingle Bells (just the first line actually, but it was still awesome!). I love spending time with him and watching him learn and grow.
I made some Christmas crackers. As it is just Craig & I for Christmas dinner, I didn’t want to splurge on a pack which had too many, so i made my own. I’ll post a tutorial this week so you can make some too. The great thing is that you get to put decent prizes in them – things you might actually like to get!
And the best to last…
I got an email on Thursday evening from Scrapbook Trends saying that they want to publish one of my projects. Out of all the publications, I probably love Scrapbook Trends the most, as I always find it great value for money and it is always brimming with inspiration. I can’t believe to tell you how excited I am about this one. Thank you Scrapbook Trends for a great Christmas present!!
Congrats on being publish on Scrapbook Trends! you are getting your Christmas presents way ahead 🙂 Enjoy the snow, we are getting just non-stop rain so it doesnt fell very christmasy
