Today is a special day – it’s my niece’s birthday!!
Happy Birthday Bethany!!
Bethany is coming to visit at the end of the month, and we are very excited already. We’ve been wracking our brains trying to think of a million exciting things to do whilst she is over here with my mum and dad. I’m sure we’ll get some crafting in there somewhere! Lets just say that Bethany loves her craftiness just as much as I do!
So lets talk about the card:
You’ll recognise another piece of black cardstock as the base! Yes, yes…i’m getting a little addicted to this fun colour for a cardbase! The paper is from My Minds Eye Quite Contrary collection, and I love the way the colours contrast with the black background. I have the 6×6 pack, and the colours are fantastic, and there is also a few pages full of cut out images, which is what I have used for the topper. To add a bit of flair, I embossed the flourish stamp in black embossing powder and used adhesive pearls to embellish the image. Then I used stickles
to create a glittery border to the topper – to give an even more girly feel!
The flower was given to me as a gift, so I’m not sure where it comes from, but I stuck it in place with some trusty gluedots! Gotta love those gluedots!
Thanks for stopping by, and i’ll be back soon with another crafty creation!
