A Card for the Boys

Happy Fathers’ Day to all our Daddies out there! Hope you are all having a wonderful day.

Sorry its been quiet this week, Piper and I flew back from N.Ireland on Tuesday, and after an extensive wait for luggage which meant we didn’t get back home until late, the rest of the week has been exhausting. Piper caught her first cold (to be expected with all the rainy Irish weather) so all she has wanted to do is cuddle, bless her!

So poor Craig had to celebrate his first fathers’ day with shop bought cards (G-A-S-P!!)! How shocking! He did get some cool pressies though – this book by Jamie Oliver (love the frangipane tarts), this genuinely drip free travel coffee mug – an essential for any coffee lover (he had a red one before but it got lost/stolen), and a cool thingy-me-bob which apparently makes wine taste very nommy – a wine aerator.

So with it being Fathers Day, i thought I would share a boys card with you. It was actually a birthday card for my Bro, but it could be adapted for any occasion i reckon. And even though it was for my thirty-something brother, I think it could work for nearly any age, boy or man.

On the video, I also share a tip on how to make your own faux-bakers twine. Check it out!

Just a little funny side note – I was wearing a fleecy and rolled up the sleeves so it wouldn’t be in the video….{fail}. I can already see Craig rolling his eyes at me when he watches it. heehee!

Oh by the way, I haven’t forgotten, winners will be announced soon!
