As i was flicking through some of the photos which i recently got printed, I spied this one and decided to get scrappy. In hindsight i think it was probably due to a hankering for some sunshine {c’mmon Summer!!! Where are you?!?!} but i have to say that i love the way her wee face is beaming with a big smile. We were simply in the garden, playing with some toys in an inflatable paddling pool (no water), and every time Miya (cat) passed by, Piper would giggle with glee. She looks so very small in this photo, boy how time flies!
For this layout i used the blocks as a starting point to create a colourful design in the background. The rest took life from there. I didn’t get too hung up on what papers i was using so please forgive me if my product listing isn’t very extensive. I pulled a lot of papers from my stash, mainly because most of these are bright colours and i wanted to have a nice, bold, bright palate for this summery layout.
I didn’t want a lot of journaling for this layout, so a few lines of writing was the perfect amount. Look at that ladybug that was hiding in my stash! cute!
