HBS – A Little Kindness Goes A Long Way -Supporting the Kindness Campaign

Good afternoon Crafty friends!

Today’s card is a celebration! A celebration of kindness, and the generosity of the whole hive over at Honey Bee Stamps.

Melissa and gang from Honey Bee Stamps has announced that throughout all of August, 25% of the proceeds generated through sales of the Kindness Stamp set and Kindness Die will be donated towards the Kind Campaign– a campaign that aims to stamp out bullying! 🙂

This is such a wonderful cause, and whats even better, is that these are really super awesome products! This makes me doubly happy! 🙂

To showcase the kindness stamp set I have made a card today to share with you guys. I have paired up the large stamps to create the word ‘kindness’ and then filled out the rest of the card with some of the other smaller words in the set. You can get so many variations from one stamp set – and this is something i really love about Honey Bee Stamps products!

I have paired this stamp set up with the Country Wreath stamps to build up a floral image, which I coloured with my copic markers. I wanted a sweet, almost vintage-feeling colour palate, so I used E95, RV10, R00, G21, YG02 and R20. This paired up perfectly with a little green pattern paper from my stash and some gold mirror card!

I wanted to add some dimension to the card, so I cut out a couple of extra flowers and fussy cut them so i could decoupage or paper piece them together with a little foam dot. I love how this makes the card have a little more pizazz! A little glimmer from the wink of stella brush marker, and add a few gems – and the card is complete!

So if you want to boost your stamp supplies as well as support the kind campaign, jump over to the Honey Bee Stamps shop to purchase these great supplies. Simon Says Stamp is also honouring the 25% donation. 🙂

Oh and by the way, Jennifer Maguire posted a great video of her using this stamp set today, and the video also showcases some of the other great stamps in this release. Hop over to her You Tube channel or blog to see it!
