Hello Gorgeous – Letting The Stamps Do All The Work!

Hello friends!

Thank you all for participating in the Honey Bee Stamps Blog Hop over the weekend – celebrating the fantastic new release! Be sure to check out the HoneyBeeStamps Facebook page and Instagram to see the winner!

For today, I wanted to use the new Hello Gorgeous stamp set, and really showcase the variety of big floral stamps.

This card really does demonstrate that you can make impactful cards with the right product – even the beginner crafter could achieve this one!

I started with a panel of kraft cardstock, cut using a rectangle die to be the size of a standard A2 card. Next I prepped my surface with an anti static embossing bag, before stamping and embossing floral images all over the card. There are so many to choose from in this set, but they all coordinate perfectly – so I randomly stamped them all over, then heat embossed them with white embossing powder.

I really didn’t want to cover up a lot of those gorgeous floral images, so I decided to go for a simple, yet elegant look. I die cut some vellum using a speech bubble die (Quickutz) and then stamped and embossing the large Hello image from this set. I am IN LOVE with this ‘hello’ – it is exactly what I needed in my stash! It is going to get SO much use, I can tell!

To finish the card, I reached for the Honey Bee Stamps exclusive Dew Drops embellishments – I love that these give such a WOW factor to my cards!

Thanks for stopping by,

Lesley
