It seems like forever since I shared a video with you – I guess moving house and preparing for baby has meant that I’ve not been thinking about videos quite as much as I’m thinking about cots, prams and nappies!
SO – its video time now! Here’s a video tutorial on how I made a pop up pram card for my friend Lindsey when she had baby Jude.
It also talks through how I have used my Stampamajig to get the stamping just right!
I saw these stamps and wanted them so bad. The elephants just looked too adorable! And they just so happened to be half price when I spied them at the craft fair a few weekends ago – so they are one of the newest arrivals to my craft stash.
And of course I was feeling inspired to make a set of baby cards with little mister elephant. Isn’t he darling?! You can almost see the blue one hiding behind the girl card in the bigger photo above. Nothing overly complicated, but definitely sweet and simple and a whole lotta fun.
Enjoy

Yes, my favourite flowers are tulips. I don’t know why, but they are just so pretty. I’ve got a lovely bunch of yellow beauties last week that are currently standing proud in my living room.
I was thrilled that last months Unity Kit of the Month had a lovely tulip stamp in it, and finally yesterday I got to play with it. I love the way it is encased in a beautiful oval design with a little butterfly – isn’t it sweet!?
Today’s card would be perfect for mums, grannies or mates, with bright colours combined with more subtle hues – a play on the bright red tulip flowers and the mix of greens in the flower stems.
In case you are wondering, I have coloured in the image using distress inks. Such an easy way to add a pop of life to a stamped image. If you want to see more on this, check out my video tutorial which shows you how to colour with distress inks.
