Hello Crafty friends!

I intended to get this post up earlier in the week… but it didn’t happen. Better late than never I guess. 🙂

Last Friday in my Come Craft With Me YouTube LIVE show I was sharing this fun interactive card and at the same time sharing some sneak peeks of some stamps from Heffy Doodle!

In case you have missed the news, Heffy Doodle is a NEW stamp and die company that I am launching via Kickstarter on 3rd July. Please come on over to www.heffydoodle.com to see some more sneak peeks and sign up so you can be notified of all the latest Heffy Doodle news.

Over the next few weeks on my Friday night CCWM shows, i will be giving you all some sneak peeks of some Heffy Doodle stamps, and then the full reveals will begin on 28th June!

Let’s get on with the card!

So I totally tried to be organised this week – aren’t y’all proud of me? I received some requests to share some information earlier in the week so that you can gather supplies and then you can craft the same card when I am LIVE. It was a great idea – you guys are so clever! I am going to try to do that, although part of the reason I started doing LIVE shows was because of time constraints… what with launching a new company and all! 🙂 But I promise to try real hard, and if i can.. i sure will.

I know some of you guys like measurements and exact dimensions. My brain doesn’t work like that, so in the video I talk you through the mechanics. If you can wrap your head around the engineering a little, then you will be free to make different variations of the card much easier.

But for those of you that like to keep track of dimensions – i did promise a guide. Here is is! The finished card is A2 – 5.5 inches x 4.25 inches

I had lots of fun breaking in my Distress Oxide inks – both for creating the blended background but also for stamping the messages! This ink stamps SO deliciously!

I used the masking technique to turn this card into a Fathers day card – I just love the teeny weeny ‘slide me’ message at the top! And if you like it, you are in for a treat when you see the full stamp set reveal!

If you are free, i would love you to join me for my LIVE Come Craft With Me show – it is every Friday night at 9pm BST (4pm EST). You can always go to my YouTube channel http://youtube.com/hungryheffy and join the event – that way you will be notified when we go live.

Otherwise, get crafty and maybe play the video in the background! If you can’t join me in my craft room, I would love to join you in yours! See you soon!

Happy crafting!

Lesley
