Happy Monday everyone, and a very happy Bank Holiday Monday to everyone over in my neck of the woods that gets to have a day off work! Yipppeee!
So today I’m writing from the Emerald Isle, as I took the advantage of the long weekend to pop over to see the family, including my new nephew Lewis, who is 4 weeks and 1 day old! It’s been great to see everyone, but i’m starting to miss my craft room.
Lucky for you, I had already made a Miss You Monday card ready for today- and once again i’m using my Unity Stamps March Kit Of The Month – seriously, I just cant get enough of Unity yumminess!!
For this card I’ve used pigment markers to create the different colours on different parts of the bracker stamp, and stuck alpha stickers along the dashed lines to create a greeting. To embellish the card, I have used an awesome butterfly stamp also from unity {delish!} stamped in black, with some detailing added using pigment marker pen. This card is so very simple, but its clean, bold colours definitely make a statement!
I hope you like it. Leave me a comment here ♥
In other news:
I hope everyone had lots of fun on National Scrapbook Day on Saturday. I saw millions of emails and comments throughout twitter and facebook with lots of invites to crops and events all over the web. Unfortunately I was suffering form lack of internet connectivity. So although I did not get the opportunity to divulge in online scrappy activity, I did decide to treat myself to a cart load of goodies from Two Peas In A Bucket! Heeeheee! I can’t wait to share my purchases with you!
Also, I am waiting with baited breath for the arrival of my April Unity KOTM – It hasn’t arrived yet, and I every day that passes makes my bottom lip stick out a little further and my scowl etch deeper into my forehead ….I suspect the volcano ash has caused a hold up somewhere…I do hope it arrives soon, and doesn’t get lost forever! That would make me very sad. If any one in the UK as had theirs delivered already, please let me know!
Okay, better shoot for now, have a great Monday!
Love that butterfly…hope you have a great time! And do share what you bought…
