I don’t know how many times I tried to take a picture of this card today, but it just didn’t want to turn out right! GGrrrrrrr!!
I wanted a simple, cute card for this week’s Miss You Monday, and I was inspired by this cute animal stamp from last month’s Unity Stamps Kit of the Month. Isn’t it adorable!! First I printed the greeting onto the front of a piece of A5 card, then stamped the image and once I had masked the elements, using white embossing powder, I embossed dots onto the glossy white cardstock using my fav Hero Arts Raindrops stamp. But because the card is glossy and the embossing is glossy, my photos were pants! I know that the main problem is that I was trying to take photos at night, rather than with natural day light. I hope you can see it a little to get the picture!
But never mind the card, I have bigger, better news to share!
For those of you who have been following my Miss You Monday posts will know that these cards are all for my friend Sarah. Well, Sarah has been suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum all through her pregnancy and as if that isn’t bad enough, she is now suffering really badly from Obstetric Coliostasis, and her liver is starting to shut down. This means that there is too much risk of still birth to continue with the pregnancy, so tonight, at midnight PST, Sarah is getting induced!!! What wonderful news, because this means that we will soon have a little baby girl joining the Hardin family!! I cannot wait to see the photos and hear the good news of her arrival.
So, watch this space!
Until then, I’ll try to take better photos for y’all.

Have a great day!

Hi Les. I will pray that everthing goes well for Sarah and her daughter and that they both come through delivery without any problems. I have put a new card on my blog if you fancy a peek. Best wishes to you and Craig.
I knew you were doing “Miss you Monday” cards, but by the time I began following I didn’t realize why. What great support you are providing. Such great news that your friend will soon be able to hold her baby girl in her arms and can hopefully begin her recovery. My prayers are with you and your friend and her family.
