Good Luck With Buttons {and a SBM Sneak peek}

Looky looky here, for good lucky, lucky cheer. heehee

One of the girls at Piper’s nursery was moving on to another job so I threw together a quick Good Luck card featuring some buttons as a four leaf clover. I was looking through my stash for heart shaped buttons which would look more like petals, but these were the best i could find. No worries though, its all groovy.

For the main design i simply used up some scraps from other projects, one of my fav ways to use strips of pattern paper tucked in behind each other. It sometimes makes it look like there is a larger piece in behind there.

I also had fun hunting through my stamps to find a good luck stamp. I found one that had the word good, and then used alpha stamps to make up the word good. I like the way it looks with the different fonts next to each other.

And guess what…I’ve been a busy bee. I received issue 65 of Scrapbook Magazine – and one of my pages was in there, featured in the Summer Holiday theme section. I am always so thrilled and honoured to be see my work in glossy print.

And even more exciting news is that there are two more pages which will be published soon in issue 67 of SBM. And here’s a little teeny tiny sneak pesky as a treat for you.

Enjoy.x
