Jar Of Hearts: A Birthday Card For Lisa

In my last big scrappy stash order, i picked up a load of 6×6 paper pads. Mainly because Craig had to carry everything back to the UK in a suitcase so i figured the smaller pads of paper would travel better than full size 12×12 papers. One of the packs I bought was the American Crafts Dear Lizzy Neapolitan collection.

I often stop by Elizabeth Kartchner’s blog because I think she is awesome. I love her style, her individuality, her cute photos, her hilarious husband and her adorable kiddies. And now, I am loving this paper pad that she designed. This collection is full of light hues, something which I love seeing on other peoples craft projects, but I don’t always find easy to use myself, but the designs on the paper make it quite easy to put cards together.

I simply had to add the wooden heart from Studio Calico. I am LOVIN these little beauties. Already I have used loads from this pack….may have to buy more soon they are just too cool

I’m really happy with the way this card turned out, especially as it was for my dear friend and work colleague, Lisa, who is celebrating her birthday today.

happy birthday princess! xx love you.
