Make yourself a needle keeper with felt

Ever fed up with never being able to find needles? For some silly reason i’ve been keeping needles in about 5 different places – mixed in with pins (resulting in an extensive and slightly dangerous poking around the pin pot) or tucked into spools of thread (resulting in the inevitable finger-prick every time i grab a spool). I’m sot sure why i haven’t done this before.

Inspired by this cute sewing machine charm from Meiflower, I pulled out some felt and run it through my cuttlebug with some dies. This took me about less than 10 minutes to make and now – i’ll be able to store my needles in one cute, convenient and safe place. No more pricked fingers – yeaaaay! {who am i kidding, i’m sure i’ll still manage to hurt myself in some way!}

{Meiflower giveaway is still open – check out the details here}

    Very useful…I made several of these as gifts a few years back but never got around to making one for me – think I’ll have to rectify that as your one is lovely.
