It was Matthew’s birthday yesterday, HAPP Y BIRTHDAY TO YOOOU!
He’s one of the guys in my team at work: a real trooper, always giving his all and eager to please, but sometimes i do feel sorry for him being significantly outnumbered by girls. We can get a bit giggly and silly at times (as most girls do!).
Matthew recently spoilt himself to a new kitchen and patio, so rather we got him a gift card for Homebase so he can buy lots of goodies to kit out the new additions to his home. We were going to get him some plants, but i really cant be trusted with those kind of decision. I don’t have a good track record of keeping plants alive.
Here’s Matthews birthday card taking centre stage in the first MAN-day Monday of 2012. Wooohoo!
I think i am in love with this alphabet stamp. A collaboration between Hero Arts and Studio Calico, and it looks like two fabulous companies can make magic when they work together. I stamped the image with frost white ink and cut some little banners to hang off some linen thread. To secure the thread in place, I wrapped the edges around mini brads and made sure to overlap the thread when I was sticking down the banners with foam adhesive.
The little Happy Birthday greeting is also from Hero Arts, one of their sparkle collections. I tend to use this one a lot because the size is so cute and dainty.
Thanks for stopping by, and tomorrow I have something exciting to share with you.
